Boomer Esiason, professional “malloik?”
Malocchio (often pronounced as spelled above) is an Italian word that roughly translates to “the evil eye,” and has become a synonymous term with the reasoning behind hexes descending upon someone.
Is that what Boomer did to Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers with some recent comments made in his role as a CBS NFL analyst?
“Yes, I was holding my MVP Trophy and polishing it for that interview (with Josh Allen two weeks ago), and this past week, I said I’d vote for Aaron Rodgers for MVP because he hadn’t thrown an interception,” Boomer said, lamenting how Allen has had two bad weeks in a row since, and Rodgers was awful on Sunday.
Gio, master of baiting others, had other topics on the brain hearing that.
“So you and Jeffrey Toobin, polishing something on Zoom?” Gio dropped in.
It got a little sticky from there, so, uh, yeah, just listen for yourself.
