You would expect Joe Benigno (and maybe Evan Roberts) to come out firing on the New York Jets every Monday after the team’s latest embarrassing loss. Or, you could even see Boomer Esiason, the ex-Jet who finally jumped on the “Fire Adam Gase” bandwagon, chiding the squad.
When Marc Malusis comes out hot, though, circle the wagons…or get out of the way, because this Moose was stampeding through Gang Green on Monday’s Moose & Maggie Show.
“Get me to next Sunday when they take on Buffalo! I’m excited to watch it – get the popcorn, get the kids gathered ‘round the TV,” Moose ranted, “and light it up, because let’s see what kind of disaster they can orchestrate this week! They are so bad, they're actually watchable - and I'm going to tell my grandkids about this team, because they'll never believe how bad they are!"
Malusis continued on lamenting the Jets’ loss in Miami, noting it was “comical” what is going on.
“La’Mical Perine finally getting some burn after the coach said last week he didn’t want to overwhelm him or stunt his growth as a player…WHOSE GROWTH HAS BEEN STUNTED HERE?” Moose screamed manically. “My eyes are bleeding watching this team! If you flip these games on, you can say to yourself, ‘do these guys actually practice all week long?’ What are they doing all week long?”
And then, Malusis took to task the man who this ultimately falls on.
“You see it on the field and you say, ‘hey, Chris Johnson, where’s the genius of Adam Gase?’ I want to know where the genius is!” Moose continued. “If Week 1 against the Bills was a mess, what was yesterday? The Titanic? The Dolphins didn’t even play well and won 24-0! Give me something from one of those rocket scientists in Florham Park, because this is a complete and utter embarrassment and a disgrace to the uniform!”
And one final parting shot on the future:
“There is no sign of life, there is no hope, there is no nothing with this Jets team in any way, shape, or form!”
Let’s hope that Marc doesn't subject the poor Malusis family to three hours of Jets-Bills on Sunday, but if you need MOAR MOOSE, we got you below - and, as always, check out more on-demand audio from Moose & Maggie, or tune in every day to the WFAN.com or Twitch.TV/WFAN livestreams of the show!
