Joe & Evan's NFL Picks: 2020 Week 6

Another winning week for Evan, another losing week for Joe, and now, Roberts has a four-game lead on Benigno in the WFAN afternoon drive NFL picks race for 2020. This week, Evan’s on a Red Rifle and two of the elite teams in the league, while Joe is on three home teams that may be surprise picks, but could be a collective gamble that could pay off.

First, the current standings (last week in parenthesis):
Evan: 9-6 (2-1)
Joe: 5-10 (1-2)

And now, Week 6 from Joe & Evan, brought to you by, Bud Light and Prop Swap:

Cowboys (+1) vs. Cardinals:
“This one’s for Ozzie, who says he has a lot of faith in the Red Rifle! I love Andy Dalton too because he’s a redhead! But we saw a little bit last week that he is capable of leading this offense, and it’s still a talented offense. Are the Cowboys bad enough and Cardinals good enough for Dallas to be an underdog at home to Arizona? This is the Cards’ third straight road game, and everything lines up to me for a Dallas win.”

Packers (-1) at Buccaneers: “Now you have an angry quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, and they’re fully healthy. I think Tampa is good and will win the division, but they’re still not putting it all together yet, and they’re facing a team that’s better than them.”

Chiefs (-4.5) at Bills: “The Bills got their tails handed to them by Tennessee, and I think it’s going to happen again by a Chiefs team that just lost. I love elite teams coming off losses, and while the Bills are a good team, they’re not the Chiefs. I’d lay more than 4.5 if I had to.”

Panthers (-1) vs. Bears:
“I really like what the Panthers are doing under Matt Rhule; they’re winning games without Christian McCaffrey, which is unbelievable. They haven’t knocked off the who’s who of the elite, but they’re quietly right in the mix. I think they’re a very dangerous team. The Bears have overachieved, but I just think the Panthers at home, only laying a point, you have to like that.”

Eagles (+7.5) vs. Ravens: “I understand Baltimore is one of the top teams this year, but Philly gave the Steelers all they wanted last week, and I think 7.5 is too big a number for Philly at home. I could actually see Philly winning this game, because I don’t think they’re as bad as their 1-3-1 record says. I just have a feeling here, and it’s a big number.”

Giants (-2.5) vs. Washington: “If the Giants are going to win a game, this is it! Washington has a very good defensive line who can get after it, and we all know the Giants’ offensive line has a long way to go, but I think this is it. You’re only laying 2.5, and even when the Giants can’t beat anybody, they still usually beat Washington.”

Listen below for the full predictions, and as always, be ready to call in Monday to give Joe & Evan love (or hell) for their picks!
