A pair of 1-2 weeks in Week 6 maintains the pace, with Evan four games up on Joe, who noted that, “I’m having a brutal year, that’s an understatement.” This week, Evan is on three home teams with two favorites, and Joe is the same…but wait, he picked the Jets again?

First, the current standings (last week in parenthesis):
Evan: 10-8 (1-2)
Joe: 6-12 (1-2)

And now, Week 7 from Joe & Evan, brought to you by Oddstrader.com, Bud Light, and Prop Swap!

EVAN’S PICKS
Patriots (-2.5) vs. 49ers:
“This is an insanely important game for New England. Last week, bro, they got destroyed! The Patriots are staring at a three-game losing streak, which they haven’t had since 2002. They’re laying a very small number at home, and I don’t buy the Niners. I can’t see the Patriots laying another dud.”

Cardinals (+3.5) vs. Seattle: “The Seahawks are off to a great start and I think they’re perfect covering the number, but they aren’t that good defensively. I think Arizona will be able to put up points against them. I think it’s going to be a high-scoring game, it’s at home, and I love getting that hook.”

Browns (-3.5) vs. Bengals: “You want to talk about an enigma? The Browns are a weird football team; they’ve been destroyed by two good teams, and they’ve beaten a lot of bad teams. They reek of being a bully team, which won’t be enough to win their division, but I fully expect them to be able to bully a Bengals team that won’t have Joe Mixon. I think this will be one of those weeks where the Browns make you believe again.”

JOE’S PICKS
Falcons (-2.5) vs. Lions:
“When I think of paper teams with no substance, I think of the Falcons and the Lions, teams who find ways not to win games. They’re playing each other, but it’s in Atlanta, and I think now that Raheem Morris is the coach, the Falcons will put a little run together and win a few. This is certainly a game they can, against a team that’s a mirror image of them. I could see Atlanta win a shootout, like a 40-35 game.”

Titans (-1.5) vs. Steelers: “You have a home team favored by less than three in a game with two undefeated teams. These are two teams that like to run the ball down your throat, but no one does it better than Derrick Henry and the Titans. I think Tennessee’s got something going; Mike Vrabel is really ascending to elite coach status, and, I think the Titans are playing with a little chip on their shoulder.”

Jets (+12) vs. Bills: “I don’t think they’re going to win the game, but something tells me that the Jets are going to keep this close. Buffalo…the seeds of doubt are starting to be planted. They lost to two of the best teams in the league, but the Chiefs just ran the ball down the throats of a very good defensive football team. Very surprising, and I wonder if Buffalo is maybe starting to lose it a little.
Look, the Jets haven’t covered a number all year, but I think 12 is a major number, and they give Buffalo a game.”

As always, be ready to call in Monday to give Joe & Evan love (or hell) for their picks!
