Yes, indeed, apologies to The Beatles, but it is now officially 11 years since the Yankees brought home No. 27!

On Nov. 4, 2009, the Yankees defeated the Phillies, 7-3, at Yankee Stadium in Game 6 of the 2009 World Series to clinch their 27th (and most recent) world championship. Even though it wasn’t a save situation, the Yankees of course brought in Mo for the ninth, and with two out and a runner on second, he got Shane Victorino to ground to second, and the Yankees were back on top!
