The man behind One Panther Place and The Roar Podcast John Ellis joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse to recap the Panthers Thursday Night loss to the Falcons.
Kyle started the conversation by asking if it is fair to say that the Panthers offense deserves more blame for the loss than the defense and John agreed given that the Panthers were so thin on depth defensively, and John said that the Panthers offense needed to have more production, especially Teddy and the O-Line.
John was also asked what the priorities for the Panthers as the season has reached it's halfway point as John said they need to find a guard and some interior O-Lineman as well as extending Taylor Moton, as well as depth on the D-Line. John also said the Panthers need to figure out what they have at Tight End and probably need to get younger at Linebacker.
The final statement that John said regarding the Panthers was that they are a team that will hopefully be more healthy by the time they play the Chiefs and he thinks the playcalling on both sides is more of an anomaly than anything as he sees the Panthers having a chance to win a couple of more games before the season is up.
