The Panthers Beat Reporter for the Athletic joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse as he discussed the biggest takeaways he's noticed from Panthers training camp so far.
The first thing that Joe told Kyle from his training camp observations was how new Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater has looked so far in camp and Joe told Kyle:
"He feels like he is the right guy for this rebuild or transition but we won't know what he truly is until the games play. He's looked good and sometimes he's looked rusty, but it's just so hard to put too much emphasis on reading the tee leaves of practice that we need to take what we see with a grain of salt."
Joe also weighed in on the backup QB battle between Will Grier and PJ Walker as he thinks it's a battle that is still up in the air.
Kyle also wanted to know what to expect with the linebacking core now with no Luke Kuechly as Joe said that's a point of question for the Panthers especially when he stated that he hasn't been impressed with the 2nd string guys of Jermaine Carter and Andre Smith as Matt Rhule even told them to not be content with their spot.
