Mick Mixon Gives His Thoughts on the Panthers Season Opening Loss to the Raiders

The voice of the Panthers joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse as he gave his reaction to the Panthers 34-30 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in front of an empty crowd.

The first thing that Kyle and Mick discussed was calling a game in an empty stadium with no fans as Mick told Kyle that it's one of the things that he took for granted, and he hopes that we can all get back to some sense of normalcy sooner rather than later.

When it came to not giving the football to Christian McCaffrey on 4th & 1 late Mick told Kyle that:

"You know it's football, you make decisions on other things than what the fans see like the alignment of the defense. It certainly is easy in hindsight to say would #22 find a way to get the first down, but it's disappointing and if he makes it then fans will be going more crazy over Joe Brady as an adept play caller which he is."

Kyle also wanted Mick to give his thoughts on some of the Panthers rookies as Derrick Brown did a good job holding up against many double teams and Mick told Kyle that Jeremy Chinn makes it hard not to think about some of the best safeties when he is on the field.
