The Panthers need to stop dropping Brian Burns into coverage

Former Saints and Panthers Safety turned SEC Network Analyst Roman Harper joined Kyle Bailey today on The Clubhouse today to give his latest thoughts on the Panthers, and what he expects from another busy weekend of SEC Play

Roman first discussed the Panthers defense being short-handed over the past few weeks as Roman said he still is getting used to the unique defense of Phil Snow but understands that we still need to be patient to see how it works, but does have a problem with Brian Burns still dropping Brian Burns in coverage because Roman said they need to let Brian do what he does best and that is go after the QB.

Roman also weighed in on the lurking situation of the Panthers WR's needing to get paid and which one will be the odd man out as Roman said that Curtis Samuel will probably be the one the Panthers let go as there is only so much money that can be given out and he thinks the Panthers will be more bullish on keeping DJ Moore and Robby Anderson.

The final topic that Roman tackled was the upcoming slate of SEC Football games as Roman said the game that is the toughest to predict is the Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville as Roman said that if Georgia's stout defense can create turnovers they will win the game.
