The beat reporter for the Charlotte Observer covering the Charlotte Hornets and the NBA joined Kyle Bailey today on the Clubhouse. Kyle first asked Rick with the draft lottery coming up if he still thinks that Mitch Kupchak will still go BPA in the draft and Rick told Kyle that he still believes that, but at the same time you see the Hornets need a dynamic wing, and Rick also points out that they need some form of a rim protector sooner rather than later.

Kyle also wanted to know Rick's reaction from Devonte' Graham's snub in the Most Improved Award Race and Rick responded:

"The numbers say I shouldn't be surprised, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm a little disappointed for Devonte'. This just proves that this is a nebulous award and you are always going to have problems with that award unless the NBA sets certain criteria for the award."

To end on the Hornets talk Rick discussed the latest labor talks between the NBA and NBA PA on the chances of another bubble for the Charlotte Hornets and the rest of the teams that didn't enter the bubble in Orlando.
