DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys roster trimming continued today as they have released cornerback Daryl Worley and defensive tackle Donatri Poe, according to multiple reports.
Dallas put both players on the trading block but found no takers, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported Wednesday.
Both players were expected to be contributors to the Cowboys defense when they signed their free agent deals this offseason. Instead, they became the a big part of Cowboys fans' frustrations with the NFL's worst defense.
Another player who had struggled since signing on this offseason was pass rusher Everson Griffen. Griffen was the first castaway as Dallas sent him to Detroit Tuesday in exchange for a conditional sixth round pick.
