With Saturday’s loss to the New England Patriots in Foxboro, the Buffalo Bills have clinched the fifth seed in the upcoming AFC Playoffs.
They can’t go up or down, which means they’ll be on the road for the Wild Card round and play either Saturday, Jan. 4 or Sunday, Jan. 5. They’d also be guaranteed to be on the road again if they were to win in the first round.
The only way the Bills could host a playoff game is if they make it to the AFC Championship Game and the sixth seed does, as well. The sixth seed has yet to be determined, and so is the fourth seed, who will be the Bills' opening round opponent.
