Finally. Real football practice.
The Buffalo Bills hit the field for their first fully-padded practice of 2020 on Monday just outside their indoor practice facility at One Bills Drive in Orchard Park.
The team had been going though the first two phases of the shorted offseason since July 28, but began the “contact integration period” on Monday.
Although members of the media weren’t allowed to walk to all areas of the field due to COVID-19 protocols, it was still a chance to finally see the team on the field and doing actual football work.
Here are some observations and video from Day 1:
Norman made up for it in his own way a bit later in 11-on-11, making a terrific break on the ball for a pass breakup.
The team will be back on the field Tuesday morning.
