Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals was certainly a heartbreaker after wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins reeled in the game-winning touchdown catch in triple-coverage in the end zone.

While the Hopkins touchdown stole a certain win from the Buffalo Bills after quarterback Josh Allen led his team down the field for a go-ahead score, the Bills are still sitting in a decent spot heading into the bye week at 7-3 in the AFC East.

However, the Bills will be paying attention to the Dolphins this week, as they can pull even in the divisional race with a win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High. This could set up the possibility of a Week 17 showdown for the AFC East between the Bills and Dolphins on Sunday, Jan 3 at Bills Stadium in Orchard Park.

Buffalo will be able to use the coming days during the bye week to rest and relax, while also recharging the batteries ahead of their Week 12 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Nov. 29 in Orchard Park. The team will also use that time to hopefully get healthier as players like guard Cody Ford, wide receiver John Brown and linebacker Matt Milano can take the time to nurse some nagging injuries.

Like the Bills' 7-3 record, Howard Simon is now 7-3 on the 2020 season with his weekly picks for the Bills. He had the Bills beating the Cardinals last week, but that victory for him was also snatched away by Hopkins in the dying seconds of Sunday.

While the Bills are on the bye, there is no week off for Howard as he picked the Bills to go 11-5 on the season.
