Howard Picks the Bills: Week 2

After a Week 1 win over the Jets, Howard's confidence is rising heading into Miami

The Buffalo Bills got their 2020 season started on a high note this past Sunday with a 27-17 win over the New York Jets at Bills Stadium in Orchard Park.

Despite the scoreboard showing the final result to be a closer game, the contest was very much in favor of the Bills' side as they were up 21-3 by halftime, out-gained the Jets 404-254 in total yardage, and both sides of the football smothered the Jets in almost every way possible.

As for Bills quarterback Josh Allen, he, arguably, had his best game of his young NFL career, going 33-of-46 for 312 yards, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for another. Allen became the first 300-yard passer for the Bills since Tyrod Taylor threw for more than 300 yards on Dec. 24, 2016.

With this win, the Bills will now take things on the road for an upcoming matchup with the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. The Dolphins lost their first game of the 2020 season this past week, 21-11, at the hands of the New England Patriots under new quarterback Cam Newton.

In the opening week of "Howard Picks the Bills", Howard Simon was confident that the Bills would roll through their matchup with the Jets and end the 2020 season with a 11-5 record. This week, Howard's confidence grew a bit as he not only picked the Bills go beat the Dolphins in Miami, he also had the team going 12-4 this year.
