On Sunday. Diddy proceeded to give us what we needed and held the "world's biggest dance-a-thon" on Instagram Live. Encouraging followers to make donations to a COVID-19 relief fund at teamlove.com in support of frontline workers.
Just days after his newest release "Toosie Slide," Drizzy is focusing his attention and time on the follow-up to Scorpion, his double album from 2018. Drake elaborated on using this time of by being stuck indoors as motivation.
“I’m working on the album, I’ve been working on it for a while now,” Drake explained. He's undeniably "hyped" about his efforts. Self-isolation has provided a “silver lining” on this forthcoming, sixth studio set. Using his time wisely, without the distractions of the fast-paced world that were used to living in.
He went on to say; “I remember the last time I had to sit down was when I tore my ACL (in 2009). And I made a great album out of that. Obviously God has us all inside the house right now. Definitely, it's the most excited I've been about an album in a long time.”
Without spilling too much, Drake did confirm everything on the album is “fresh and brand new.” And it’s “probably the most music I’ve been sitting on.” No timeline for its release or album name just yet.
Some other guests that joined the live dance-a-thon include his ex Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, 2 Chainz, DJ Khaled, Cardi B and Offset, just to name a few.
