You don't get an Eminem song in your advertisement unless he really wants it there. But it seems the Detroit rapper has thrown his support behind the Democratic nominee in this year's presidential election.

Eminem hit social media on Monday with a brand new ad for former Vice President Joe Biden featuring his 2002 hit "Lose Yourself," captioning the post "One opportunity... #Vote." The Detroit Free Press points out this is the first time Em has licensed his music to be used in a political ad.

The video itself features Americans from all walks of life highlighting doctors, first responders, farmers, ranchers, athletes, and more, as well as masked citizens waiting in line to vote. The Biden/Harris team also appears in the short but powerful clip thanks to the soundtrack, fully masked, arriving at campaign events.

The up-front advocacy for the Democratic nominee comes amid other celebrity activists who have openly shared their support for their chosen nominee.

Singers Lady Gaga and John Legend were both on hand at the final Biden/Harris campaign rallies in Pennsylvania last night, November 2. During his performance, Legend gave a speech criticizing his "former favorite rappers" who have shared their interest in re-electing Donald Trump.

Rapper Ice Cube, for one, stood up for his beliefs using some choice words after being mocked along with Lil Wayne on Saturday Night Live for allegedly being interested in Trump's "Platinum Plan" for Black Americans solely because of "taxes." 50 Cent was also dragged online by his ex, comedian Chelsea Handler, for stating his support for Trump, but has since back-pedaled on that and now says he will vote Democrat.

With today being Election Day in the U.S., the only way to make sure your voice matters is to get out and vote. For election information and resources, please visit RADIO.COM/Vote.
