PARAMUS, N.J. (1010 WINS) – Rapper 50 Cent rented out an entire Toys ‘R’ Us store in New Jersey so his 7-year-old son could have a private Christmas shopping spree.
"When I asked my Dad for the 'WHOLE Toys R Us Store' for Christmas I didn't think he would actually do it, but he did," Sire Jackson wrote on Instagram. "Thank you Daddy! Best Christmas Ever!"
Sire’s mom, Daphne Joy, posted photos and videos of the shopping spree at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus to the boy's Instagram.
"Christmas came early for Sire lol," she wrote.
The store even had a floor decal reading “Sire's Toys R Us” that included a caricature of the boy.
According to E! Online, the shopping extravaganza cost 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, $100,000.
Sire ended up picking out LEGO sets, a NERF blaster and a small plush Geoffrey the Giraffe.
The store is one of only two Toys 'R' Us stores currently open under new ownership after the company filed for bankruptcy last year.
