This 2020 college football season has been bizarre, to say the least. Teams have canceled games and games are being rescheduled everywhere you look. It finally hit the Hurricanes who had to take a couple of weeks off due to Covid. Now after a two-week break, Miami is ready to get back on the field Saturday night in a matchup with the Duke Blue Devils. This game was scheduled back on Sunday so Miami had limited time to prepare for it. What should we expect to see on Sunday? Hurricanes radio analyst Don Bailey Jr. stopped by The Joe Rose Show to give his thoughts.
DBJ said, “I still don’t know who’s going to be available to play for Miami until an hour before the game. For how I’ve been raised in this business it’s all about repetition and continuity and we haven’t had that…I don’t know, I haven’t seen this before, how do you go winning four in a row and take two weeks off and then you come back your third week, I don’t even know if Miami has been in pads."
The Canes are two-touchdown favorites tomorrow night.
Tomorrow’s game can be heard right here on WQAM with pregame beginning at 4:00 PM
