Jimmy Butler's Game 1 Performance is 'How Legends are Born'

Jimmy Butler’s Game 1 performance as the Miami Heat overpowered the Milwaukee Bucks was sensational and as Heat voice Eric Reid put it, “That’s how legends are made and born.”

Reid joined The Joe Rose Show on Tuesday morning and went on about Butler’s 40-point, four-rebound performance where he shot 13 for 20 from the floor.

“He joins Wade and LeBron as only the third player in Heat playoff history to score 40 in a playoff game,” Reid said.  Some exceptional company for Jimmy Buckets as his legend in Miami continues to grow.

As far as the supporting cast stepping up, that was a big key as well to Miami’s win last night.

Goran Dragic has been so big for the Heat and Reid praised him too.

“I think Dragic has the advantage over either Bledsoe or George Hill," said Reid. "He’s been a huge strength for Miami and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.”

The Heat will take the floor again Wednesday for Game 2 with the tip at 6:30 from the Orlando Bubble.
