National Signing Day has a bit of a different feeling this year while coaches are still trying to get their teams to the finish line and attempting to balance recruiting at the same time.  Fortunately for the Miami Hurricanes, it looks like Manny Diaz is set to bring in a top ten class.  Mike Farrell, the national recruiting director for Rivals joined The Joe Rose Show on Wednesday morning and spoke about the strength of the Miami class and also how well Manny Diaz has done recruiting South Florida.

Farrell said, “It looks like it’s going to be a top ten class or in that range which is what you want if you are Miami, you should expect no less.  Manny Diaz has done a good job this year especially, it’s weird to think the pandemic helps anybody but a lot of these Southern Florida kids are staying home and some were projected to go elsewhere…you look at this class and it is 95 percent South Florida and I think that’s exactly what Miami wants.”

Recruiting coverage will continue on WQAM and we will have a recap of the Hurricanes class tomorrow morning on the show.
