FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Sacred Heart University threatens to move entirely to remote learning.

President John Petillo released a video message on Monday, in which he threatens to send students home.

He reminds students not to leave their designated pods, consisting of their roomates and also their immediate family members. Reports of large gatherings and mask violations have been directed to University administrators.

Sacred Heart is reporting 22 active on-campus cases and 92 off-campus cases as of Monday. President Petillo says the uptick in off-campus cases has been most concerning, saying "...we are at a real point of decision about the future of the semester on ground."
