(WWJ) A search is underway for three suspects, accused of stabbing a man at a 7-Eleven in Pontiac.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department said they responded to the stabbing around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of Baldwin and Columbia, to find a Pontiac man, 33, with multiple wounds to his arms.
The victim told deputies he was attacked by two men and one woman, who were all described as “Hispanic.”
He said he picked up the woman’s cellphone when it fell onto the ground while he was being attacked, thinking it was his own.
She then kicked him in the head, according to the victim. One of the men took the victim’s car keys and threw them into the parking lot, the Sheriff’s Department told WWJ.
The victim said he has no idea what provoked the attack.
He turned the cellphone over to deputies at the scene.
The male suspects are believed to be driving a silver/gray Pontiac Grand Prix, or a white pick-up. The window may have been busted during the assault.
The victim was treated at a local hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
If you have seen these suspects or know who they are, please call Crime Stoppers at 1-(800) SPEAK-UP. There is a $1,000 reward. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
