ROMEO (WWJ) - A series of death threats allegedly made against multiple students at a school in Romeo has parents on edge.
The Macomb County Sheriff's office confirmed they're investigating threats against Powell Middle School students. At this point, however, they aren't releasing any further details.
Sources tell WWJ an eighth grade boy made the threats via text messages to other students, allegedly saying he would shoot them on November 15. A student showed the messages to a parent, who reported the alleged threats to police.
As an investigation continues, it's not clear if school will be canceled on Monday.
