Suspects Fire On Police, Flee Through Neighborhood At 100 MPH

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for two suspects in a SUV who got away after firing at officers on the west side.  

The incident unfolded around 3:17 a.m. Tuesday in area of Northlawn and Intervale streets, north of I-96 and Wyoming Avenue. 

Police say the suspects were in a Chevy Tahoe that fled the scene after shots were fired, leading to a chase that reached speeds up to 100 miles per hour.

Officers lost track of the vehicle in the area of Fenkell and Hubbell avenues.

No injuries were reported.
