CHESTERFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - The Chesterfield Police Department is asking tips from the public to help find the person or people responsible for setting a home on fire.
Police are continuing to investigate what they call a "residential arson" that occurred at 25176 N. Au Lac Drive, in the area of Fairchild Lake, at around 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 11.
As seen in a photo (above) sent out by Crime Stoppers of Michigan on Monday, the home suffered severe damage. Authorities say everyone in the residence was able to get out safely and no one was hurt.
A cash reward of up to $1,000 is available for the tipster who comes forward with information leading to an arrest in this case.

As always, tipsters may stay 100 percent anonymous, will not be asked their names, to speak to police or to testify in court.
