Dozens of vehicles were burglarized overnight in the Bayou St. John neighborhood.

“I got a phone call about 6:30 this morning from a neighbor who was the first to come out and noticed the car windows were broken out, and she called everybody to tell them what happened,” one victim told WWL-TV. “We all came out, took a look at the damage, got that little tight grip in your stomach, and started calling 311 to report the incident.”

He says the crime scene is not contained to just their one street, “This whole block and next to 1200 of Dupre and there was a couple on Orchid Street around the corner.”
