Due to fog, N.O. International temporarily suspends arriving flights

Update: Flights are once again arriving at N.O. International airport.

The ground stop has been lifted, and flights are arriving at #MSY.

Dense fog prompted officials at New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport to suspended all arrival flights into the airport.

Earlier today, Aaron Burns, spokesperson for the airport confirmed the delays to WWL Radio.

Live flight radar website flightradar24.com showed flights in the area were either circling the airport or temporarily diverted to other airports.

The suspended flights could also have an adverse effect on departures so travelers are advised to check their flight status.
