Jefferson Parish to resume parish business on Wednesday

Jefferson Parish

Now that Hurricane Sally is no longer a threat to southeast Louisiana, Jefferson Parish returns to business as usual.

A spokesperson for the parish says all Jefferson Parish government buildings will reopen Wednesday. This includes the Joseph S. Yenni Building, the General Government Building, Jefferson Parish Credit Union, Jefferson Parish libraries and all Jefferson Parish Parks and Recreation parks and activities.

The parish council will meet for their scheduled council meeting Wednesday. All curbside garbage and recycling services will resume in the parish as well as the Jefferson Transit “JeT” bus service.
