You have one more chance to take part in a spectacular holiday event in New Orleans.
Gallier Hall is center stage, as the striking Luna Fete display will be presented tonight (Sunday) from 6 to 10 p.m.
"We do projection mapping on Gallier Hall which, basically uses light to turn the facade into swamps. And, this year, we're featuring a circus. So, we'll have a whole circus experience," says Lindsay Glatz, Creative Director for the Arts Council of New Orleans.
She says there'll be two different projection showings tonight.
"They start at the top of every hour. Now, it's important to know that the shows on Gallier Hall rotate. So, at 6 o'clock you'll see a series of three shows, and the shows at 7 o'clock are different. So, you really should stay for at least an hour-and-a-half in Lafayette Square to see all of the projections."
And Luna Fete takes in a lot more ground beyond Gallier Hall.
"We have free art installations from Gallier Hall all the way down to Fulton Street. So, if you see a gas lamp that you can get inside and interact with and change the colors, then you've gotten to the end," Glatz says.
"Many of our installations this year require the audience to activate the magic. We love to create interactive pieces that really allow people to become artists in themselves and play. And it's a great experience."
And, there are also projections on the Piazza d'italia that will change every night.
So, if you've aleady seen a Piazza D'italia display this weekend, you'll have a completely different experience tonight.
