Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport continues to beat its own records, as it enters the final stages of construction of a new airport terminal. "In 2018, we broke another record for the fourth year in a row with 13 million passengers traveling through this facility," said Erin Burns with Armstrong International Airport. Burns says air travel in general has been doing well, and New Orleans' growth in tourism is helping bring in a lot of flyers.

Work on the new terminal is progressing towards opening this spring.
