The 2019 Biletnikoff winner had already announced his decision to opt out of the 2020 college football season.

Chase is coming off a record-breaking sophomore season as he helped LSU achieve an undefeated 2019 campaign.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound receiver set the school and SEC record for receiving yards with 1,780 and single-season touchdown receptions with a NCAA leading 20. The former Rummel star was a unanimous first-team All-American in LSU’s 15-0 national championship season.

Without Chase, LSU's projected starting quarterback Myles Brennan will rely on receiver Terrace Marshall Jr., who caught 43 passes for 625 yards and 12 touchdowns last season, despite missing four games due to an injury.
