With a few Saints linebackers dealing with injuries, the team has brought in Will Compton for depth at the position.  The 29 year old first came into the NFL with the Washington Redskins in 2013 as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska.  He spent his first 5 seasons there before playing with the Tennessee Titans last season. The 6'1, 245lb linebacker has 298 career tackles with 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries and 3 interceptions.

The Saints were thin at the position.  Alex Anazlone has been out since the first preseason contest; then Craig Robertson left last game against the Los Angeles Chargers and was not seen at practice on Monday.
