“We Will Rock You,” a rock musical experience inspired by some of Queen's biggest hits was originally set forthe Saenger Theater; but, after the collapse of the Hard Rock Hotel, the venue has changed. The musical will now be performed at at the Mahalia Jackson Theater on October 29th.

“We Will Rock You” star Trevor Coll joined Scoot to discuss the show, describing it as “a sci-fi rock/comedy musical

“It's all fun. We use Queen's music to be the voice of this story and the heart and the pulse of our narrative. We have an absolute blast and get to sing all the big tunes that have resurged since the Bohemian Rapsody movie came out.”

Those who bought tickets for the Saenger Theater performance through Ticketmaster do not need to do anything. Their tickets will automatically be exchanged, and they will be emailed new tickets from Ticketmaster.

Those who bought tickets at the Saenger box office will need to exchange them in person at the Mahalia Jackson Theater box office, which is open from Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm.

Coll, the cast member, says the musical – and music – has something for everyone.

“The rock music of Queen is more than rock. It's universal storytelling. It has rock elements; it has pop elements. You hear the classical elements. There's so much that it has to offer. I think you can come to this musical not even being a Queen fan and leave as one.”
