Zion shines again in limited play, Pelicans lose again

Zion Williamson scored 15 points in about 21 minutes for New Orleans as the Denver Nuggets beat the New Orleans Pelicans 113-106 on Friday night.  

Zion logged his first dunk in a Pelicans' uniform on a lob from Jrue Holiday in the opening minutes.

He was still limited in time, however, as he returns from knee surgery.  Zion also had a moster block, knocking a shot five rows deep into the crowd.

Nuggets forward Nikola Jokic had 27 points and 12 rebounds to lead his team to victory.

The Pelicans fall to 0-2 following  the NBA's  first overall draft pick finally getting on the court.
