No. 2 LSU is set to play No. 4 Georgia Saturday at 3 p.m. for the SEC Championship. But WWL Radio analyst Bobby Hebert thinks there's more on the line than just the conference's crown.
"I think if they win they will be the No. 1 seed (in the Collge Football Playoff)," Hebert said.
A victory in Atlanta Saturday would give LSU its fifth win against a top-10 opponent. The Bulldogs, however, are one of the toughest teams LSU has faced all season as Hebert thinks Georgia's defense is one of the best all around in the country.
Hebert said it will be key for the Tigers to stop Georgia's running game, which heads into Saturday's matchup averaging nearly 200 yards per contest.
