LSU has found Joe Brady's replacement as the Tigers are set to hire longtime NFL coach Scott Linehan as passing game coordinator, according to a report from The Advocate.

Brady, who helped LSU to a record breaking season on offense and a national championship, left Baton Rouge to become the offensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers. Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron said last week that he was looking for his next passing game coordinator to come from the NFL ranks and appears to have one in Linehan who most recently served as the Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator in 2018.

"We are looking for different ideas," Orgeron said last week. "We are looking for things that we can add to our already great offense."

Linehan spent much of his career as an offensive coordinator and was the head coach of the then St. Louis Rams from 2006-2008.
