LSU receives more requests than tickets for Peach Bowl, report says

The second-hand market for tickets to LSU's College Football Playoff Semifinal matchup with No. 4 Oklahoma should be booming as Tiger fans scramble to find seats in Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Dec. 28 contest.

According to a report from WBRZ, LSU's ticket office received 3,000 more ticket requests than the 13,000 allotted by the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.

These tickets are sold out. LSU received 16,000 ticket requests so 3,000 will not be getting their hands on one. Fans will find out TOMORROW if they're one of the lucky ones! @WBRZ

The Tigers earned the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff after going 13-0 and winning the SEC Championship. If LSU beats Oklahoma Dec. 28, the Tigers will play the winner of the other semifinal, The Playstation Fiesta Bowl, in New Orleans on Jan. 13.
