Last month, LSU showed off the splash guards added to its football helmets with the goal of limiting the spread of Covid-19.

Earlier this week, Tigers linebacker Soni Fonua posted about the modified helmets on TikTok and Fonua complained about being able to breath through the helmet. While on the video another player, LSU offensive lineman Austin Deculus can be heard saying it's "like breathing in a Ziploc bag."
