ABC's newest 'Bachelor' once wore a New Orleans Saints uniform

ABC's next subject of its reality show "The Bachelor" once wore a New Orleans Saints uniform.

Matt James, who the network announced would be the next "Bachelor" Friday, spent minicamp with the Saints in 2015.

James spent time with the franchise after a four-year career at Wake Forest where he caught a total of 48 passes for 458 yards.

He will be the first black Bachelor in the show's 18-year run.
