New Orleans Saints fans got their first look at the team's offseason additions in black and gold this week as the franchise published its Media Day photos.

Among them were portraits of new Saints backup quarterback Jameis Winston, who joined the team after spending five seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In the photos, Winston showed off the leaner frame head coach Sean Payton mentioned earlier in the week.

Winston said in April, when he signed with the Saints, that he made a concerted effort this offseason to lose weight and get in better shape including a change to his diet, mostly.

"I decided to go vegan," Winston said in April. "I've been vegan for the past three months, four months and it's just changed my body, drastically.

"I do cheat every Saturday. I mean, some chicken, or something, I can't be super vegan or I'd be like 210 pounds."
