Bye week does the Saints banged up bodies good

A week off sure helped the Saints get heathy.  Drew Brees remained a full-go after testing out his surgically repaired thumb in week 8, while tight end Jared Cook (ankle) and Receiver Tre’Quan Smith (ankle) also fully practiced.

Cook got nicked-up at the end of the game in Jacksonville and was held out the last 2 games, while Smith originally got hurt in week 2, then briefly returned in Week 5 before going back on the injury report.

RB Alvin Kamara (ankle/knee), CB Patrick Robinson (hamstring) and TE Josh Hill (calf) are listed as limited. If all the players continue to make positive progress, the 7-1 could be fully healthy for the start of the 2nd half of the season.

The 1-7 Atlanta Falcons inital injury report is much longer:

RB Ito Smith (neck) did not practice

DE John Cominsky (ankle) did not practice

G James Carpenter (knee) limited

QB Matt Ryan (ankle (limited)

CB Desmond Trufant (toe) limited

G Jamon Brown (foot) limited)

G Wes Schweitzer (head) limited

TE Jaeden Graham (knee) limited
