Losing to a division rival always stings a little more, but the Saints angst is even greater after a 26-9 defeat to the Falcons.  Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network tweeted that corner Marshon Lattimore strained his hamstring against Atlanta and will be week-to week due to the injury.

#Saints CB Marshon Lattimore suffered a hamstring strain that has him considered week-to-week, source said. That’s a tough loss. His absence was felt quickly Sunday, when #Falcons WR Julio Jones went for a 54-yarder as soon as he exited.

Lattimore left the field Sunday, but returned to the sideline for a bit.  He sprinted back and forth behind the benches and hopped on the stationary bike, but never did get back intot he game. P.J. Williams took over Lattimore’s spot playing opposite Eli Apple, while rookie C.J. Gardner-Johnson moved into the slot.

"I didn't feel a difference," said Sean Payton when asked how the defense played when Lattimore left the game. "Obviously, when you lose a good player like that it's significant. But, I felt like that was part of the game, but not something I noticed that changed differently."
