The linebacker group holds a few questions for the Saints heading into the 2020 season. After All-Pro DeMario Davis, three suffered season ending injuries, while A.J. Klein shuffled off to Buffalo in free agency.

After head coach Sean Payton mentioned that Kiki Alonso could be limited when practices begin, it was not a surprise to see ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweet that the team made a move, signing Nigel Bradham to a one year deal.

The 30-year-old played with Malcolm Jenkins in Philadelphia where they won a Super Bowl together in 2018. The Eagles declined their option on Bradham’s contract after he tallied 61 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery that he returned for a TD in the 12 games he played in last season.

New Saints LB. Nigel Bradham is a very physical player who has played and started at the weak side and strong-side spots.Smart player, instinctive - and is solid in the coverage part of the game. He gives the Saints versatility at position spots with injuries.
