Injuries are piling up on the Saints defense as Marcus Davenport and Sheldon Rankins will reportedly miss the remainder of this season.  The team worked out a few pass rushers the other day and liked what they saw from Noah Spence.  He was a 2016 second-round pick by the Buccaneers and was most recently with the Redskins before he was cut in November.

Spence appeared in just 34 games during his 3 years in Tampa due to wrist and shoulder issues.  He has 7 sacks in his career with 37 tackles, 16 hots on the QB and 4 forced fumbles.

All-Pro Cameron Jordan leads the DE group for the Black & gold.  Trey Hendrickson, Carl Granderson and Mario Edwards Jr. are also a part of the rotation.
