Saints adding WR Bennie Fowler

The New Orleans Saints are adding a wide receiver.  Following COVID-19 testing and a physical, six year veteran Bennie Fowler will join the Black & Gold. He was released from the NY Giants after 2 seasons and saw action in eight games a year ago, catching 23 of his 36 targets for 193 yards.

Fowler began his career in Denver going undrafted out of Michigan State in 2014. In his four seasons with the Broncos the 6ft2, 212 pound target grabbed 56 passes for 698 yards and five touchdowns while being a part of the Super Bowl 50 winning squad.

Fowler has also spent time with the New England Patriots and Chicago Bears and will compete for depth at WR along with a role on special teams.
