Welcome back to New Orleans, Malcolm Jenkins.  The 32-year-old safety has signed a 4 year, $32 million deal with the Saints which includes $16.5 million is fully guaranteed money. The total amount could jump to $35 million if he hits certain playing time and win incentives.  Jenkins had one year left at $7.6 million on his deal with the Eagles, but Philadelphia declined the option making him a free agent.

The Ohio State product was the 14th overall pick in 2009, and was part of the Saints Super Bowl squad his rookie year.  The reunion comes 6 years after New Orleans let Jenkins leave in free agency, opting instead to sign Jarius Byrd. That decision did not work out well.

Jenkins is a 3 time Pro Bowler and a 2 time Super Bowl champ who's on the field talent is just one of his stellar attributes.  He will provide a much needed vocal presence for the Black & Gold's young, maturing secondary.
