To no surprise rookie center/guard Cesar Ruiz (ankle) and defensive end Marcus Davenport are out for Sunday’s game after not practicing all week.  Coach Payton was asked if there was any update on Ruiz, and he said no.

Cornerback P.J. Williams is questionable. He showed up on the injury report on Thursday with a hamstring issue and was limited in practice the last two days.

Over on the Buccaneers side, only WR Mike Evans’ game status is doubtful due to a hamstring injury.

Here’s a look at Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans testing his hamstring out today. You’ll see him catch passes outside, then do some high knees, and some hip abduction work on the ground. pic.twitter.com/fwQirGcfxt

It means that Tampa Bay will likely be without one of their top weapons for week one’s 3:25pm kickoff.
