To say this football season is going to be different is the understatement of a lifetime. We found out Wednesday the season opener against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers will be played before an empty Superdome. College football. Who knows?

Zach Strief, voice of the Saints, joined us this morning to talk about all of it. He had some interesting observations about what it will feel like as a player to suit up and run out onto a field in a silent stadium. He also had some interesting things to say about the dangers faced by those who play the game and covid-19 is far from the top of the list.

Then we moved on to college football and which conferences are choosing to play. Much like the dangers faced by players on the field, he thinks covid-19 is far from the top of the list as it relates to reasons for canceling or postponing seasons.
