NBA, LSU legend Shaquille O'Neal takes in son's first game at the PMAC


NBA and LSU legend Shaquille O’Neal took in the Tigers’ 96-43 win against Southeastern Monday night in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

O’Neal’s son Shareef is currently a member of the LSU men’s basketball team. The younger O’Neal, a 6-foot-10, 225-pound forward, transferred from UCLA where he averaged 2.2 points and 2,9 rebounds per game.

With his his father in attendance, O’Neal scored five points while collecting nine rebounds and a blocked shot.

Shaquille O’Neal played at LSU from 1989-1992 and averaged 21.6 points, 13.5 rebounds and 4.6 blocks per game.
